SINGING CONTEST

Belgium Invites Entries The sixteenth international individual singing competition will be held in Venders, Belgium, between April 22 and May 4, 1967, under the patronage of the Belgian Government and the Venders Administration. The competition is open to male and female singers of all nationalities who have not won a prize in the finals of earlier competitions. Competitors must be aged under 35 on April 22, 1967. Entries close on March 15. Entry fees are about £1 10s. Prizes amount to about £7OO, and a diploma is presented with the first prize of £360. A grand international award, worth about £2BOO, will also be made. Entries should be sent to the Belgian Embassy, P.O. Box 560, Wellington.
