Stanmore Road Traffic

Sir, —I would thank the traffic department for removing the stone pillar on the south-east side of Stanmore road bridge. This has been a menace ever since the stop sign was erected, as.it is very hard, coming from the east, to see how near the traffic is on Stanmore road going south. I hope the department will erect lights here soon, as it is not unusual for at least eight or nine cars to be waiting on Avonside drive to go west. —Yours, etc., CONSTANT MOTORIST. October 18, 1966.
