RENEWAL OF SEARCH

Miss Soutter’s Clothes (.V.Z. Press Association * AUCKLAND, Oct. 13. A search for clothing and effects belonging to Miss Lesley Margaret Soutter, aged 19, of Devonport, whose unclothed body was found on May 31 in Gillies avenue. Epsom, has been renewed by the Auckland police. Miss Soutter had been missing since late in March. The police are understood to be acting on information obtained from a man in a provincial centre. Dental, pathological and radiological examinations and fingerprint reconstruction, played a big part in the identification of Miss Soutter’s body. After the inquest, a police officer declined to say whether the cause of death had been established, and he would not say whether the case was being treated as one of murder.
