Cement Works Stoppage
(N.Z. Press Association! WHANGAREI, Oct. 13. Fifty fitters stopped work at the massive Portland cement works near Whangarei this afternoon. No comment was available from the management or union on the cause of the stoppage, which began about 1 p.m.
