Plane Down In Flames
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) ABILENE (Texas), October 13. A military transport plane carrying a crew of six crashed in flames near Abilene last night. A U.S. Air Force official said doctors and ambulances were on the way to the scene. A service station attendant told reporters. “There was a big ball of flame going through the air, and then it went out of sight.” The Cl3O troop transport which had no passengers, was on a night navigation training flight *he Air Force official said.
