"The Press” Special Service LEVIN. Three members of J. K. Searle s team for Trentham, Jetmate. Tracey, and Rashid, aid impressed at Levin yesterday, when they completed their semi final trials for Trentham on Saturday. Work was done on the course proper. 20 feet from the rails. Jetmate >W Searle) ran half a mile in 49 2-ssec. the last three furlongs in 37 2-ssec. Jetmate appeared to be working well within himself a’’J the way and looks to have a strong chance in the Shorts Handicap at Trentham. He showed just how good he is with a fine sprint win at Hastings recently. Rashid (K. A. Aitken) was always in front of Tracey (T. Baylis) over half a mile in 50 4-s«ec, the final three -furlongs in 38 l-ssec. Rashid may record his first) win of the season in the Wainui Handicap, and Tracey will be a useful second string for Searle in the Shorts Handicap.
