POSTPONEMENT GRANTED
Military Training Committee
Because of heavy death duties a widow was working her Springston farm on a tight budget, the Military training Postponement Committee was told when W. J. Speechly, a working farm manager, applied for postponement of his training. His application was granted and will apply as long as he is in his present occupation. The committee comprised Messrs J. R. Williams (chairman), C. R. Thomas, and H. F. Larson.
The following applications were granted for up to 12 months:—
D. F. Adams (farmer), J. J. Corby (student), R. H. Davies (farmer), I. D. Johnson (medical laboratory technologist), M. J. Newsome, A. J. Peterson, E. B. Spurr, C. H. Taylor, and R. H. Rudkin (students).
The following were postponed sine die:— B. Curline, D. J. Frampton, G. E. Erickson, C. D. Green, E. W. G. Hurst, D. H. McLean, W. N. Ritchie, R. H. Anderson, R. A. Ashenden, P. S. Barnett, D. J. Bunting, R. C. Cooney, T. F. Davison, S. Gooch, J. R. Graham, I. G. Jowett, P. R. Lissaman, M. J. L. Meyer, G. R. Naish, M. T. Newton, T. G. O’Connor, M. P. Pullar, G. M. Reynolds, R. I. Shaw, P. S.
