Gee Must Be N.Z. Citizen

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association will not consider an application for reinstatement as an amateur from the Australian D. Gee, until he becomes a New Zealand citizen. An earlier decision to reinstate Gee as from September 1 brought a total ban on Australian riders wishing to compete in the annual six-day race from Auckland to Wellington later this year. However, the N.Z.A.C.A. has rescinded its earlier motion granting reinstatement to Gee and will not consider it again until he becomes a New Zealand citizen.

Last-second Goal. — A goal with the last kick of the match gave Glentoran (Northern Ireland) a 1-1 draw in Its European Cup Winners' Cup preliminary round first leg match with Glasgow Rangers (Scotland) at Belfast on Tuesday.
