WOODEN GUN USED BY VIET CONG.—This wooden 105 mm howitzer, used by the Viet Cong to train their artillerymen, was captured from a training school by United States marines. Made of wood and bamboo, the gun is fitted with old motor-cycle wheels, and can be raised and lowered by a bicycle driving-gear. Wooden shells are used for loading practice.
