“The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL. Kinki, which severed the ten dons in his off hind leg in the McLean Stakes at Wingatui on Saturday, is at Invercargill in the care of a veterinary surgeon. Mr C. H. G. Irvine. Kinki’s leg is encased in a frame and his progress is being carefully watched. Kinki is owned by Messrs F. E. and T. E. Johnstone, of Browns, and Mr R. W. Kennedy, of Drummond. He is a half-brother, by Bellborough. to Page Boy. which holds the Riccarton record for seven furlongs.
