INVERCARGILL, Sept. 20. | A ewe has given birth to a lamb weighing between 20 and 251 b, on a Southland property. The average weight of a lamb at birth is about 81b and a 121 b lamb is considered big. Mr K. Barclay, who manages the property at Wendonside weighed the lamb at 251 b. However, on a neighbour’s scales it registered 201 b.
