They were dangling beneath a helicopter circling at several hundred feet. The couple, from Chicago, are professional mid-air acrobats. "As performers, we
wanted to do something that nobody else had ever done,” said Frank, aged 36. The ceremony was watched by thousands of spectators at the Western Fair, where the couple, billed as Francarro and Estreleta, have been working. The bride ar.d groom wore earphones to hear the words of the Rev.
Jonas Shepherd, a Presbyterian minister, who performed the ceremony from the helicopter. The couple used a microphone to relay their responses, which were heard in the fair’s grandstand and throughout Western Ontario on a radio link.
Rings were attached to their wrists by a thin string.
