Injuries To Diplomat

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, Sept. 15. Doctors have had to amputate two fingers of the High Commissioner for Pakistan in Australia and New Zealand, Dr. A. Malik. The 63-year-old envoy was seriously injured in a car crash at Wagga on Tuesday. He also suffered six broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade. Dr. Malik is still too ill to be moved from Wagga Base Hospital.
