Jacobite May Miss Cup
Jacobite is unlikely to contest the New Zealand Cup in November. He is showed a slight filling on the inside of a hock, and although ’it is not thought to be serious, no risks are being taken with him. X-ray examinations have shown no bone damage, but the filling and heat remain.! Jacobite, a fine third in the last cup, rejoined D. J. Townley’s team early in July. He did only light jogging exercise before the filling showed.
