The Auckland Trotting Club’s initiative in staging a free-for-all with a mobile start for the combined 2min 13sec and 2min 14sec classes has been rewarded with a first-rate field for the second leg of the T.A.B. double at Alexandra Park tomorrow night. There is also a strong field in the first leg, the September Handicap, and the issue looks very open. Bobbinet, Lonesome Valley and John Dee may be the hardest to beat. The weather seems fairly settled and the track will be fast.
