PHILIPPINE OBJECTION

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MANILA, September 11. Placard-bearing students staged a one-hour demonstration outside the Presidential palace to protest against the sending of Philippine troops to South Vietnam. They also objected to the forthcoming State visit of President Ferdinand Marcos to the United States. About 500 students presented a manifesto declaring their criticism of the sending of a 2000-strong Philippine civic action group composed of army engineers and security troops to Vietnam. The group is to leave for Saigon by sea today.
