Pigeons Race From Picton
The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club held its second race from Plcton during the weekend. Bad weather made times slower than usual. Early In the month the club held its first race from Plcton, when some fast times were recorded. Results were.— First Race,—H. Clements 1, A. Leporowski 2, G. Harris 3. A. Thomas 4. C. Alexander 5. Second Race.—D. O’Hare 1. G and L. McLennon 2, H. Clements 3, A. Leporowski 4. A. Thomas 5.
