Two New Zealanders, B. E. Fairlie and K. Woolcott. will contest one of the semi-finals in the South of England lawn tennis championships. In the all-New Zealand quarter-finals Fairlie beat J. R. McDonald, 6-2, 7-5, and Woolcott beat D. Simmonds, 64, 64.
