Car Hits Pole

Mr B. Williams, of 10 Ferner street, suffered concussion and abrasions when the car he was driving hit a pole at the corner of Mcßratneys road and Belfield street about 5.30 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition was reported to be satisfactory.

Telegrams Delay.—Because of floods, ail telegrams to and from Laos are subject to delay. the Christchurch Central Post Office has advised.
