(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter) LAUREL (Maryland). Thirty horses from six countries were named yesterday as “top priority” possibilities for invitations to compete against American entrants in the 150,000dollar Washington, D.C., International on November 10. An organiser of the event, to be run at Laurel Racecourse, Mr J. Schapiro, said he would leave for Europe later this month to complete selection of the International field. His “top priority” possibilities were: France: Diatome, Nelcius, Danseur, Sea Hawk, Hauban, Behiistoun, Silver Shark.

. England: Charlottown, Aunt Edith, Sodium, Pretendre, David Jack, I Say, Crips and Even, Silly Season, Black Prince 11, Le Cordonnier.

Ireland: Paveh, Prominer Pieces at Eight, Tarqogan, Bal lyciptic, Valoris, Charlottes ville’s Flyer.

Belgium: Toreador, Boulou. Germany: Ilix, Kronzeuge. Italy: Marco Visconti, Chio.

Club Chairman.—Mr D. S. Thomas, of Amberley, was elected chairman of the Amberley Racing Club at the annual meeting on Monday, not Mr D. S. Greenwood as was reported yesterday.
