WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. The first speaker at today’s annual conference of the Laminated Plastic Fabricators’ Association made certain that his speech started with a bang. He lit a fire-cracker, but his plan back-fired and a spark set off the rest of the crackers in the box.
The startled delegates were told that the bang was intended as an “attention-getter,” then Mr H. G. Markham, director of an advertising firm, went on with his address, “The Advertising Agency.”
