Ambulances Again Busy In August Ambulances of the Christchurch sub-centre of the St. John Ambulance Association last month carried 2596 patients and travelled 12,747 miles, compared with 2376 patients and 12,135 miles in August last year. . Sixty motor accidents, involving 75 persons, were attended. compared with 88 and 122 in July, and 65 and 87 in August last year. Seventy-eight collapses, falls, and sport and Indus trial accidents were attendjed. compared with 68 the previous month.
