N.Z. Judo Team

The following New Zealand judo team was selected to compete against other Pacific Ocean countries in Australia after the championships in Wellington: Light-weight. A. Lymming (Canterbury), G. Johnson (Auckland). Reserve: P. Rowles (Lower Hutt).

Light Middle-weight.—G. Roberts (Lower Hutt), E. Lanagan (Auckland). Reserve: Rowles.

Middle-weight. P. Toner (Wellington), D. De Tay (Auckland). Reserve: S. Best (Canterbury).

Light Heavy-weight.—J. McFee (Waikato), M. Yarrow (Wellington). Reserve: K. Proctor (Lower Hutt).

Heavy-weight. J. Tipere (Auckland), J. Boelee (Auckland). Reserve: C. van Wissen (Wellington). . The team manager will be Mr R. Lanagan (Auckland), and the captain will be Toner. Mr L. Hargraves will accompany the team as referee.
