BELIEVED DROWNED

Fisherman Missing

AUCKLAND, Aug. 28.

A Devonport man is believed to have drowned while fishing from a small dinghy at Kawakawa Bay, 37 miles from Auckland, on Saturday afternoon. He was:

Alva Hilton Hunter, aged 70, a carpenter, of 11 Rattray street, Devonport.

The police said Mr Hunter was believed to have fallen overboard from his dinghy while fishing alone about a mile from shore.

His partly waterlogged dinghy was found at anchor. His fishing rod was missing.
