For 19 years a Bournemouth couple, Ken and Grace Saunders, did all they could for a bachelor, William Douglas, according to the “Daily Sketch.” He appeared to be a poor old pensioner, but the Saunders cooked his meals, helped keep his house in order, and took him on outings—just because they liked him.
