For 19 years a Bournemouth couple, Ken and Grace Saunders, did all they could for a bachelor, William Douglas, according to the “Daily Sketch.” He appeared to be a poor old pensioner, but the Saunders cooked his meals, helped keep his house in order, and took him on outings—just because they liked him. William Douglas died recently, aged 91, and left £50,000 to the Saunders, according to his will, which has just been published. “We had no idea he had any money, Mr Saunders said today.
