Mr W. B. Hunter, of Auckland has been appointed a technical education adviser to West Nigeria under the special Commonwealth African Assistance Plan. From 1960 Mr Hunter has been an inspector of technical schools in the Auckland area.—(P.A.) ■ Dr. B. C. Lee, Director of I Technical Education, and Mr B W. Potter, principal of the (Wellington Polytechnic, will Represent New Zealand at the .Commonwealth conference on the education and training of technicians, to be held in England in October.—(P.A.) Mr T. J. R. Allison, who has been accountant at the Ashburton branch of the Bank of New Zealand since 1963, has been appointed manager at Cromwell He will take up his new post on September 15. Mr K. M. Evans, accountant at Takaka, will succeed Mr Allison at Ashburton.
