Two New Zealanders won their fourth round men’s singles matches in the North of England tennis championships yesterday. B. F. Fairlie beat the Indian. J. K. Bhupathi, 6-2, 9-7, and O. Parun beat the London player, D. Simmonds, 6-3, 6-4.
But a third New Zealander, K. Woolcott, was knocked out of the singles by Balran Singh (India), 6-3, 6-2.
