Three Cyclists Injured

Three injured cyclists were admitted to hospital last evening. A boy, Wayne Barnes, of 25 Kendal avenue, suffered a suspected fractured skull in a collision with a car outside 38 Kendal avenue about 7.40 p.m. He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital and operated on. His condition was fairly satisfactory last night. Mr R. P. O'Keefe, of 65 Cuffs road, suffered head injuries, a broken arm, and a suspected fracture of the left ankle in a collision with a car in Pages road outside Cowles Stadium about 6.50 p.m. Robert Flynn, of Barters road, suffered head and leg injuries in a collision with a car outside the Islington Hotel at 5.50 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where his condition was reported to be satisfactory.
