PETROL CAN EXPLODES

Youth Badly Burned (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Aug. 16. A young man was badly burned when a petrol can exploded at the premises of the Auckland Bus Company, Ltd., in Great North road, New Lynn, today. Mr Walter Ingle, of 1 Sherwood avenue, Westmere, ran from the accident with his clothes alight. Other workers grabbed him and put the flames out. Mr Ingle was taken to the Auckland Hospital with severe burns to his arms and legs. His condition tonight was fair.
