Dorian Singers

After two successful concerts in Christchurch early last month the Auckland Dorian Singers are preparing for an N.Z.B.C. recording with Laszlo Heltay, associateconductor of the N.Z.B.C'. Symphony, as director.

The works are the “Missa Brevis,” by Zoltan Kodaly, and motets by Bardos. Later this year the choir will cut its first commercial recording with a programme of works geven at recent concerts. The Christchurch visit was a financial success. The profit from the two concerts was £4OO. r
