Hiroshima Victims

Two victims of the world’s first atomic bomb attack, on Hiroshima, will leave Tokyo on a campaign tour to 58 countries early next month to appeal for nuclear disarmament. Mr Masashi Nii and Mr Kinichi Saito will visit 147 major cities, carrying pictures of the destruction at Hiroshima and messages from the Mayor of Hiroshima, Mr Shinzo Hamai. appealing against atomic and hydrogen bombs. Mr Nii sold his business and Mr Saito resigned his post at a telephone bureau to raise funds for the trip. Their 16-month trip will cover South-east Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, the United States and Latin America.
