Obituary
MH G. D. PICKLE Mr G. D. Pickles, headm ter of the Somerfield Scho until he retired five years age died this week. He was born and educated in Christchurch, trained at th< Christchurch Teachers’ Col lege, and for 40 years taught mostly in Canterbury. For : period he also taught in Fiji He served with the 2n< N.Z.E.F. in the Second Work' War and travelled widely overseas after his retirement.
