Stranded Dolphin Back In Sea

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 9. A dolphin found exhausted on Muriwai beach by Forest Service rangers going to work today has been freed in the Kaipara harbour. One of the men said they had not tried to put the dolphin back into the water at the beach as the surf was too rough. They covered it with wet sacks on the way to the harbour.

The dolphin tonight was now swiming happily near the Kaipara cruising club and residents nearby have agreed to keep an eye on it.
