Riccarton Betting

On-course betting dropped, but off-course betting increased substantially on the second day of the Grand National meeting yesterday. The on-course turn-over was £85.673 10s, a decrease of £4832 on last year. Off-course investments totalled £195,922, compared with £163,536 10s last vear, an increase of £32,385 10s. T.A.B. patrons invested £107,018 on the double. On-course patrons bet £15,262 on the doubles, £9927 on the main double.
