WELLINGTON, August 5. The fisheries research vessel W. J. Scott will visit five principal fishing ports on a working cruise in the next three weeks.

The cruise began with the vessel’s departure from Gisborne. The ports to be visited are Napier, August 5; Wellington, August 10; Timaru, August 13; Lyttelton, August 17; and Nelson, August 20.

Between ports the vessel will trawl and its catch will be sold to merchants at each port.
