Whisky Stolen
The theft of 24 pint bottles of whisky from the New City Hotel on Thursday afternoon was reported to the police yesterday. It was the second theft of whisky from a Christchurch hotel this week. Whisky is scarce because of the United Kingdom shipping strike and import restrictions
