Hunter Shot In Stomach
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Aug. 3. A young Stewart Island fisherman is in Kew Hospital as the result of a shooting accident on the island last night He is Lester Morris, aged 25, married, who was shot in the stomach. He is reported to be comfortable. Mr Morris was deer-stalking at Port Adventure with three companions when it is believed he was shot in mistake for a deer.
