DECISION BY KENYA

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) KINGSTON, August 2. Kenya has decided to vote for Edinburgh in preference to Christchurch as the venue for the 1970 Commonwealth games, according to the team's press officer, Mr R. Pamba. He said that Kenya had three principal reasons for supporting Scotland at next Sunday’s Commonwealth Games Federation meeting. They were the climate, the financial aspect, and the fact that New Zealand had the games in 1950. Scotland, the only one of the founder nations never to have been host, should be given the chance.
