Sir,—The Mohammedan New Year fell on May 13,1964, May 2, 1965, and April 22, 1966. This would appear to give a year of about 11] months not nine months, as stated by your correspondent, “Old Rod.”—Yours, etc., B. J. HARRIS. August 3, 1966.
