NEW YORK MARKET
Fall To New Low Level fN.Z.P. A.-Reuter— Copyright) NEW YORK, Aug. 1. The New York stock market fell to its lowest level for nearly two years today, with the Dow Jones industrial average dropping 12.20 points to 835.18. Union rejection of terms for settling a 25-day-old strike against five major United States airlines helped depress the market. Other factors were tight money and concern about the British Economy. Airlines were among the issues showing declines. The Dow Jones average was at one point down more than 10 points, but later regained a little lost ground. At 1.30 p.m. the index was off 8.91 points, at 838.47. Although trading was moderately active, some brokers said the market decline was more the result of a reluctance to buy than because of pressure to sell. Latest Indices
