Pedestrian Killed

A 70-year-old woman was fatally injured when hit by a car outside her home in Papanui road last evening. She was

Eleanor Agnes Stewart, a widow, of 350 Papanui road. The accident happened about 6.50 pan. Mrs Stewart was dead when a St. John ambulance reached the Christchurch Hospital. The car was driven by Terence Gilbert Kennedy, of 29 Tomrich street.

Anyone who saw the accident is asked to get in touch with the motor accident inquiry office at the Christchurcb|Central Police Station.
