A penalty that hit the crossbar before bouncing over a few minutes from full-time enabled Canterbury to beat West Coast, -11-19, in a Senior reserve Rugby League match at the Show Grounds on Saturday. Although West Coast scored two tries to one, the match wasvery even For Canterbury, J. Brooking scored a try and T. Williams kicked four goals. P. O'Brien and G. Maskefl scored tries for West Coast and M. Beckman picked two goals*
