(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 31. Two Auckland players, R. G. Webb and B. T. Thomas, both prop forwards, were treated at Auckland Hospital for injuries suffered in the match against the Lions. Both were later discharged. Webb had stitches in a head wound and cuts over both eyes. Thomas was given an Xray examination for suspected rib or chest injuries. No serious injury was found.
