A.A. SEEKS CHANGE

Warrants Of Fitness

A remit suggesting the use of coloured warrant-of-fitness stickers will be put before the annual conference of the New Zealand Automobile Association by the Automobile Association (Canterbury). Mr T. D. Craig said at a meeting of the A.A.C. council that the colour of the sticker should be changed each year, to prevent changing of dates. Some motorists kept two warrant stickers on the windscreen, changing the dates when necessary, even though it was illegal to have two stickers on the screen at once.

The idea was a good one, and he would like to see the change made as soon as possible, said Mr C. M. Robb.
