S.D.F. Cheques Posted
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, July 28. Cheques for about 200,000 dollars (£N.Z.80,000) will be posted tomorrow to about 6200 noteholders in Stanhill Development Finance, Ltd. (in liquidation). The cheques—representing 5 dollars for each 100 dollars of notes held—will be sent to holders throughout Australia. About 60 will go overseas. The announcement of the 5 per cent distribution was made in Melbourne today by Mr I. W. Davies, the secretary of T. and G. Nominees Pty., Ltd., trustee for registered unsecured noteholders in S.D.F. The unsecured noteholders are owed about 4m dollars (£l.6m). S.D.F. shareholders have lost all of the 1.5 m dollars (£N.Z.600,000) they put in.
