Prince Robin Among Homeby Acceptors

Prince Robin, which has already won the Wanganui-Manawatu-Wellington Steeplechase treble this winter, is one of five North Island jumpers in the field for the Homeby Steeplechase at Riccarton on Saturday.

North Island stables will! also be represented in the' major cross-country event at the Christchurch Hunt’s annual meeting by No Offence, Henry, Wheroma and Triomphe. Koral, which won the Home-by-Grand National Steeplechase double last year, and the highly promising Linred are two of the notable acceptors from South Island stables. Several runners which will try for Winter Cup honours | the next week will complete their preparations for the Canterbury Jockey Club’s rich mile in the Brabazon Handicap. The Brabazon Handicap will | be the second leg of the 1t.A.8. double on Saturday. iThe first leg will be the Camla Hack Handicap.
