OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACCOUNTANTS THE POSITIONS: We have 2 positions available at the moment for responsible accountants. Due to an in-company transfer the position of Control Accountant is open to new applicants and we have created a new position, Assistant to the Financial Accountant, which is available to an up and coming young man. DUTIES: Control Accountant—Responsible to the Chief Accountant for a section of the Head Office Accounting Department. Preparation of financial and ether returns, cash flow, branch internal check and staff training. Duties are varied and interesting. Assistant Accountant—Control of the ledger section which includes payroll, private ledger, creditors, hire purchase and debtors. Assist the Financial Accountant with the preparation of profit and other returns. QUALIFICATIONS: Control Accountant—should be qualified A.R.A.N.Z. Age is immaterial but the person must be practical, adaptable and capable ef controlling staff.

Assistant Accountant—a recently qualified or nearly qualified young accountant who haa possibly had experience in a publie accountant’s office. REWARDS: Salaries for both positions will be negotiated but will be within the range of £1400.£2000 per annum.
