Two-year-old Sold

The promising two-year-old pacer, Reporter, has been sold by his Prebbleton ownertrainer, A. M. Purdon. to Mr E. Alexander, of Wellington. Reporter has gone north to be trained at Trentham by c. S. and J. S. Hunter. Reporter is the first foal of a New Zealand Oaks winner in Zany. The Thurber Frost youngster showed promise at trials and in the second of three two race starts he finished fourth in the Rangiora Raceway Stakes won by Holy Hal. He has the breeding and appearance to develop worthwhile form later on.
