Educational Television
In a report of the annual meeting of the New Zealand Workers’ Educational Association, published yesterday, a remark made by Mr D. Hannay (Auckland) was wrongly attributed to Mr A. S. M. Hely, secretary of the National Council of Adult Education. In a discussion on educational television it was Mr Hannay, not Mr Hely, who said the facilities for producing educational television programmes were available in New Zealand and pressure should be exerted on the Government to do something about such programmes. The error is regretted.
