The Soviet holder of the world chess championship, Mr Tigran Petrosyan, has postponed—and apparently cancelled—his departure for an American tournament. His decision came after the Soviet track and field team decided not to participate in the annual Soviet-American rack meeting in Los Angeles ind the Soviet basketball earn refused to meet an American quintet in Moscow. The two teams said that hev had decided on this ction in protest against mited States “atrocities” in ietnam.
